Crystal Bridges & Little Rock 2022
Forming an out-of-the-ordinary and captivating combination of American art and civil rights history, in the fall of 2022, Rena Sternberg hosted an educational trip to Bentonville and Little Rock, Arkansas. Participants were treated to private tours of acclaimed institutions such as the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, The Momentary, the William J. Clinton Library and Museum, and the Little Rock Central High School National Historic Site, among others. In addition to art-centric visits to a James Turrell installation and historic Frank Lloyd Wright home, the group also had the unique pleasure of meeting with the celebrated artist Yvette Mayorga and take a behind-the-scenes look at preparations for her exhibition at The Momentary.
